You can't deny that Queens is culturally rich, especially when it comes to food. St. Honore Patisserie follows in this tradition. It is one part French, one part Italian and all parts good. They offer two types of fresh apple tarts; custard base or almond base. Perhaps you have come across tarts where the fruit is unrecognizable, but not here. Thankfully, you can taste their apples. This flaky crust tart would be a great snack or perhaps a nice addition to your morning coffee. The selection of French pastries are not as vast as in Manhattan, but this "tartarie" is a nice addition to a more traditional Greek neighborhood.
