Yup they're Macarons, they're French and authentic. How do I know? Ask my friend who proceeded to eat 6 in a row and all he could do was say yup after each bite. He is from Paris. Why would you buy donuts from a chain, when you can buy local and buy fresh? This place has existed for over 40 years. They continue to amaze us with their Old Fashion Donuts and their crullers. UPDATE: The COOKSHOP has one of the most interesting desserts around. The menu reads Banana Pudding: Carmelized bananas, peanut butter cookies. They failed to mention it will be served in your own little mason jar. It is so cute, yes it is and it makes you want to inhale the entire thing.. or is that just me? Seriously folks, the banana pudding appears to be layered with nilla wafers inside the mason jar. It is delicious, it is firm and it is refreshing. Do not try to share this one.

Parlez-vous Francais? La Bergamote is French for oh wow this pastry shop is awesome; seriously it is true. It is a patisserie at its finest, sinfully delicious. They may have the tastest Almond Croissant on this island and their Plain Croissant is tops oh and their Chocolate Croissant or Pain au chocolat!
