In Carroll Gardens lives a restaurant that serves a slice of pecan pie a little differently. Buttermilk Channel serves their pie in a glass and calls it Doug's Pecan Pie Sundae. Who is Doug anyway? It is irrelevant. What is relevant is the fact that they take a slice of pecan pie, break it into sections and layer it with ice cream and fresh whipped cream. Somehow, they manage to still have a crunchy crust. YAY! Does it really get any better than this? Actually, it does because the crumbled piece of pecan pie is served warm.
